Sun City Grand

A Del Webb master-planned community for active adults age 55 and better.  Located 18 miles northwest of Phoenix, in the City of Surprise, Arizona. The beautifully designed Village Center is the recreation focal point of the community.

It features the Adobe Spa & Fitness Center, Chaparral Center, Sonoran Plaza and Artisan Studios.  Other amenities include a woodworking shop, the Del E. Webb Memorial Ball Field, a fishing dock, outdoor amphitheater and extensive walking trails. There are currently three golf courses at Sun City Grand, all of which were designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash.  Annual golf memberships are available and residents enjoy reduced daily green fees. Located in and around the community are an abundant choice of banks, stores, restaurants, medical clinics, private practices and Sun Health Del E. Webb Memorial Hospital.

The giant indoor lap pool at the Adobe Spa & Fitness Center beckons to test your form and endurance. Sided with two-story windows, it offers the tranquility of natural light combined with incredible desert views. If you prefer to renew a bit more quietly, the whirlpool spa is the perfect place to indulge.

Outside the spa you'll find a resort-style pool with beach entry, a swim channel and aquatic aerobics area. There's also an activity pool, perfect for swimming laps. If you prefer to revitalize a bit more quietly, you can bask in the sun on one of the pool-side lounge chairs.

With over 80 clubs and classes to choose from, Sun City Grand has something for everyone. One of the most popular is the Computer Club, featuring classes and workshops that help you sharpen your skills as well as guest speaker presentations that keep you up-to-date on the latest technology.

Hit the field at Del E. Webb Memorial Ballpark and experience the camaraderie that's a part of the friendly competition of a softball game. You can relive that feeling you first discovered in little league and have held on to ever since. Or simply sit back and enjoy the game while you root for your favorite team.

A lush links cut out of the surrounding desert, Desert Springs offers large, luxurious greens, 17 lakes and unsurpassed views of the White Tank Mountains. One of three courses at Sun City Grand designed by PGA Hall of Famer Billy Casper and architect Greg Nash, this "desert oasis" course provides challenging play for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Granite Falls, our Midwestern-style course, is distinguished by rolling hills, enormous greens, and the use of buffalo grass, leafy shrubs and large trees. Shown here, the signature 18th hole to this Billy Casper and Greg Nash designed course features dramatic back-to-back waterfalls that rush over large granite boulders and flow into two nearby lakes.
