Sun Lakes 2 is an adult community consisting of 3,808 home sites built by Robson Communities and located three miles off the I-10 Freeway just 20 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport, in Sun Lakes, Arizona.

Sun Lakes was developed in three phases. When the first and second phases were completed, all amenities were turned over to the homeowners. Sun Lakes 2 homeowners own and manage their two golf courses, Cottonwood and Palo Verde, as well as their tennis courts, fitness center, activity rooms and food and beverage facilities. An annual assessment is charged each home site. This assessment covers maintenance and use of all of Sun Lakes 2 facilities and common grounds. Golf requires additional fees.  A 24 hour patrol is operated by the Homeowners Association. Fire and emergency services available through the Sun Lakes Fire District are paid for through property taxes.

Reciprocal agreements between the three phases of Sun Lakes allow homeowners many opportunities for recreation and fun.
