Tonto Verde is situated 25 northeast of Scottsdale, adjacent to the Tonto National Forest, surrounded by the McDowell and Superstition Mountains.

Designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, this course respects the pristine beauty of the surrounding sonoran desert by "molding" the course to the natural saguaros and ironwood trees. The par 72, 6744 yard course rates 71.1 with a slope of 132.
